Agency – England’s national football team captain and Tottenham Hotspur’s forward Harry Kane has made a Premier League record. Before this, Argentinian forward Sergio Aguero and the record held by him, Kane added his name on Saturday.
Tottenham beat Wolves at home on Saturday. Kane scored the only goal of that match. Kane scored in the 64th minute with a header from inside the 6-yard box after Ivan Perisic flicked Heung Min Son’s corner to the near post.
With that goal, Kane has surpassed Aguero in the list of top scorers in the Premier League and has also become the top scorer for one club. The 29-year-old forward has scored 185 goals for Tottenham.
Kane remains fourth on the list of top goalscorers while Aguero has dropped to fifth. Third placed Andy Cole is just 2 goals ahead of Kane. The record for most goals is held by Alan Shearer. He scored 260 goals while playing for Newcastle and Blackburn Rovers.
Similarly, Wayne Rooney is on the second place in the list of players who have scored the most goals in the Premier League. He has scored 208 goals for Worton and Manchester United. Rooney is ahead by a goal, saying Kane.
With Kane’s goal, Tottenham has also touched the milestone of 1,000 goals in the Premier League. Kane has played a total of 282 games for Tottenham in the Premier League. Overall, Kane scored 250 goals in 389 games for the club.
