KATHMANDU: Nepal lost to India in the final match of the Icc U-19 World Cup Super Six. Chasing a mammoth target of 298 runs set by India, Nepal made only 165 runs.

Against India, Nepal scored 165 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs and lost by 132 runs. Gulshan Jha, who had already played for the Nepali senior cricket team could not perform well against India. He came in seventh order against India and was bowled for 1 run.

Despite taking three wickets against India, he flopped again in batting. He could not score double-digit runs in four out of five matches of the tournament. He scored only 25 runs in five matches.

He scored only three against Bangladesh, only one against Afghanistan. He scored 18 runs against Pakistan. He was dismissed for 2 runs in the match against New Zealand.

Talking about bowling, he took two wickets in 10 overs for 62 runs in the match against New Zealand. He bowled 10 overs against Pakistan and conceded 29 runs.

He took one wicket conceding 42 runs in eight overs against Afghanistan and could not take any wicket against Bangladesh. He gave away 29 runs in 4 overs against Bangladesh.

In the match against India, he took three wickets. Gulshan bowled a total of 10 overs against India. In which he took 3 wickets conceding 56 runs.
